Nemadji - a technology company
Founded in 1985 by Becky and the late Gene Lourey, Nemadji is a family-owned, nationally based business located in northern Minnesota. The Loureys’ vision was to form a company that generated additional revenue for hospitals and, in turn, allowed those hospitals to better serve their patients and communities. To achieve their vision, Gene designed and engineered Nemadji’s proprietary product: an efficient and highly accurate data-mining system that could constantly evolve to meet individual client needs.
The Nemadji team combines its extensive knowledge with advanced logic to review patient accounts for cases of missing or previously unknown eligibility across Medicare, Medicaid and commercial insurance. The proprietary process promotes health care efficiencies without collecting from patients to achieve significant cost control outcomes. Most recently, Becky remains active in extending the company's philosophy and serves on the Executive Team. That philosophy has also embraced a community-centered economic development and social commitment since its founding.
All Nemadji employees are eligible for full medical, life, dental and disability insurance, and employee 401k retirement accounts are company matched.
Nemadji is the largest sponsor of Community Connection Allies, a Minnesota 501.c3 nonprofit corporation which provides community-based childcare, senior dining and Meals-on-Wheels.
