This job requires flexibility and availability during the day, but includes working with a terrific office staff, getting to know the ins and outs of a grassroots movement, and providing assistance in fun and supportive environment. Administrative assistants will help answer phones, work on the campaign’s extensive database, and provide clerical support to our administrative team (our FUN administrative team!)

An efficient campaign is a campaign with an efficient technological infrastructure. We are looking for people with the following skills or expertise
DATABASE MANAGEMENT: Assist our current database manager with upgrades and upkeep of our extensive database.
WEB PAGE ASSISTANT: Work on the content of the Becky Lourey for Governor official website. Write content, manage updates, and keep our website vital and up to date.
E-NEWSLETTER MANAGMENT: The campaign will be sending out newsletters monthly, bi-monthly and eventually weekly to several different constituenties. We need individuals to manage these newsletters. While not responsible for content, individuals would make manage the list-serve, handle the registrations, and send out the newsletters.
BLOGS FOR BECKY WRITERS: Do you have web expertise and/or a love for writing, start a Blog for Becky, updating frequently, and addressing the issues and ideas that are generated by this grass roots phenomenon that is the Becky Lourey for Governor Campaign.

The campaign is actively seeking research associates to assist our Policy Director in research projects and census tracking. Research Resear associates will aid the campaign in issue and opposition research. Associates will help find important information for candidate issues papers, talking points, and resources for the future. This job will also closely follow current events, bringing up to date information to the candidate on today’s headlines.

Mobilize your immediate community by becoming a precinct captain or field coordinator. Use your voice to connect with those in your congressional and senate district to spread the word about Becky and our grassroots movement. Field Coordinators can recruit volunteers, get the word out about house parties and take an active (and fun) role in the campaign process.

This is a job for folks with a great deal of enthusiasm, great ideas, and the energy to make our public appearances fun and exciting. Special events coordinators are needed to help plan and execute parades and festivals (like May Day and Pride), the State Fair presence, and special fundraising opportunities! Help us show the community why Becky Lourey should be our governor, and do it in a fun, creative, and engaging way!

Becky Lourey for Governor is looking for creative and interesting ways to reach out to broad communities. To that end, we are putting a call out for all artists, performers, book makers, sign makers, poster makers, makers of all things to create new and unusual campaign literature. Zines, large size posters, art, you name it, and if you can make it, we want to see it!

The campaign is always looking for interns to fill various positions in the campaign. If you have availability and want to learn the ins and outs of the campaign life, an intern position is for you.
